Privacy Policy

Latitude Panama respects the privacy of people who contact us through this site. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry or request the briefing, we collect your name, email address, intake response, IP address and submission timestamp. We may also collect the phone number you provide, basic device and browser details, and cookie-derived analytics or advertising information.
Why we collect it
We use this information to respond to your enquiry and send the requested briefing. We use it to understand the type of assistance you are seeking and, only where you tick the optional second checkbox, to send occasional information about residency, property and relocation in Panama. We do not use your details for unrelated purposes.
Sharing information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share personal information with service providers only as needed to operate this site and respond to requests. Information is shared with an independent Panamanian law firm only if you engage that firm directly.
Retention and deletion
We retain enquiry and briefing-request information for up to 24 months after our last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is needed for an active client relationship, a legal obligation, or dispute resolution. Consent records are retained for six years after collection or withdrawal. Information that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising measurement. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, use industry opt-out tools where available, and adjust advertising preferences through the relevant platform settings. Blocking cookies may affect certain site features.
Data requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or withdraw consent at any time, by emailing privacy@latitudepanama.com. We will verify requests before responding and may retain limited information where required by law.
Consent records
When you submit a form, we retain the date and time of submission, the IP address associated with the request, the intake response, and the exact consent text presented to you. We also retain whether you authorised contact about your enquiry and whether you opted into occasional information.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to know what personal information we hold, request correction or deletion, opt out of certain processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@latitudepanama.com.
Applicable privacy standards
Our email practices are intended to align with CAN-SPAM and, where applicable, CASL. We also consider applicable U.S. state privacy laws. This policy does not limit any rights you may have under laws that apply to your information.
